Case Study 2 - UK Bank Product Marketing Team:
Challenge:
- 40+ people reporting to the director
- Poor team morale (bottom of employee engagement league table)
- Ineffective executive and team meetings
Action:
- Programme of 4 x 1-day workshops plus interviews with individuals and ‘mop-up’ sessions for non-attendees, over 6 months
- Explored the Enneagram through panel discussion, practical exercises, observation of and commentary on team meetings
Results:
- Employee engagement score zoomed to joint top of league table in one year
- ‘Feel’ of the department also enhanced (i.e. engagement score improvement wasn’t a numbers massaging game!)
- Individual relationships within the team improved and survived beyond restructure
- Director repeated this programme at his next directorship
